    To enhance performance, it’s important that nothing is left to chance as every detail counts.
    In this way, for many years, research into hydrodynamics has played a central role and has been the focus of a great deal of the work undertaken by naval architects and design offices.
    Now though, with the advent of flying boats like the Maxi Edmond de Rothschild, far greater emphasis has gone into the aerodynamic element too, which is so vital on these carbon giants.
    In the space of four years, the members of Gitana Team have put a great deal of work into the platform of the five-arrow maxi-trimaran, which was devised and designed from the outset to embrace the numerous developments in this domain. Through this new video mini-series, we hand you over the keys to a greater understanding of the challenges of aerodynamics offshore.
