    Guidance from World Sailing and the IOC
    Following guidance from World Sailing and the IOC, the International 29er Class Association has suspended participation of Russian and Belarusian sailors, coaches, and officials from all International 29er Class events effective immediately.

    Following guidance from World Sailing and the IOC, the International 29er Class Association has suspended participation of Russian and Belarusian sailors, coaches, and officials from all International 29er Class events effective immediately. This suspension includes the 2022 World Championship, the 2022 European Championship, and all regattas in the 2022 EuroCup Series. The Class will not support or run any class-related activities in Russia or Belarus or cooperate with any Russian or Belarusian sailing organizations.

    We are grateful for the leadership and support of World Sailing and the IOC on this difficult issue and support their efforts to preserve the integrity of our sport and the safety of our sailing community.

      On Saturday morning, a powerboat parked itself up upon Little Alcatraz around 9:55 AM
      \One man, one woman and 3 dogs were aboard.


      SFPD marine unit, USCG Helo and Vessel Assist rendered aide and got the boat off the rock with no injuries and apparently no environment impacts. ( tell that to the crushed mussels)
