Dalton Speaks: Seeking Threepeat
So today, 17 August 2021 – being five months since we won the 36th Americas Cup and just one month from the Venue Announcement of the 37th America’s Cup – I think it’s a good time for an update. I’ve heard it said that: ‘Emirates Team New Zealand would be better losing the 37th America’s Cup in New Zealand, than winning it offshore.’ Of course these are comments that come from outside the team and one expects from people with some sort of vested interest. I still find it astonis... -

When Oceans Collide
We all know that about 70 percent of the earth’s surface is covered with water, which amounts to 361,132,000 Km2. When you look at the map of the world, the oceans and seas are easily identifiable and you might think that they just flow into each other. It seems like there’s only one large ocean which has been given different names by the people living around the different parts of this large ocean. Well, this is not the case, in fact, the borders between the world’s 5 oceans are tremendous... -

Take A Letter Maria...
August 5, 2021 To supporters of our team, I am departing Japan today after absorbing the Olympic environment, observing our team in action and getting pointers from old friends who have been running teams in this game for decades. It has been a great opportunity for me as I embark on what I expect to be a seven-year mission of leading the U.S. Olympic Sailing Team back to the top of the podium. Our team prepared hard for the last five years, and raced with intensity and professiona... -

It was t... -
