      wot iz dat within the circle (actually an oval). a rudder? something to check water-temps? something to hold the drinks under water to cool in the very cold waters?

          sees a big sail again under the bay bridge on the webcam.... wondering if..... BUT while at the pier yesterday, noticed that USA76 was sailing in the south bay and wondering if THAT is what i saw yesterday instead of the AC72? sigh anyone else going to the meet & greet at the Puma store at pier 27 today? it's from 3pm to 5. the tiny little red store that looks like a container (cuz it is)

            Larger file...would assume its there to keep the hulls from stressing the connections to cross beams... Oracle had a similar deal, only made of carbon fiber

                    but unfortunately there are no really GOOD cams in the bay area that look down into the south bay from the bay bridge, or look west/eastward to show the area between alameda and the oakland airport
