They have been way down in the south bay this morning, almost down off of SFO. But heading up to the central bay now.

              They got back early, 2ish.
I talked to PB on his ride so he should be posting pics shortly.

i figured that - didn't see obvious huge wingsail in webmarin cam so headed back once i confirmed they weren't in sf bay. i can't see cam in SFYC on my android tablet, so webmarin was good enough

                    Artemis Jan 14

Another fruitless day chasing Big Red. With the Red Snapper on the trailer getting it's 100 hour tuneup, it was a mad scramble to get it back in the water after learning Artemis was ripping up the south bay in 20 plus knots of NE....

By the time I got there, they were already in tow back to the barn, as the winds had begun to recede...but did get some derigging shots (wheee)

The only thing of note was that the port rudder was using a tee foil and the starboard a plan foil...with days slipping by, you gotta get creative with the process!

I SEE a AC-boat on the water heading west from Treasure Isl - cant tell what it is since artemis and Bar AC45s are said to be out today too

it WAS artemis AC72 + Bar & artemis AC45a. the AC45 appear to stay way east toward Richmond and the AC72 passed south of Alcatraz but of course as soon as i got to pier39, it was nowhere to be seen. apparently it made a run behind Alcatraz or Angel Isl and finally saw it coming out near Richmond Bridge where it stayed till it departed. All boats were towed to base.
