i agree. i am thinking when 17 was EAST of alcatraz, they got word of, OR saw artemis coming dead ahead and turned around for an historic meeting. it didnt last long because i was meeting up an hour later with photogs along the waterfront after i finished eating asking ME where they disappeared to!! the RBYAC AC45 was still sailing to the GGbridge and back but was gone to base by almost 5

Looking forward to seeing the shots - was watching them blast up and down the bay east of Alcatraz from my home till about 2:30. Surprised they didn't stay out longer - maybe they got the data they needed and went back to analyze it.

hahahaaa there was a difference of 8mins between MY last pix of 17 and the time you snapped THIS pix!! by that time i was already gone and dining with a friend. oh well.... am glad you got it!!!

WOW!!! by CHANCE i saw 17 and looked but didn't see artemis!! you lucky dawg!! GREAT image!!! wow!! i missed it, after hinting of when this would finally happen for weeks on twitland i missed it! rats - but there will be more days! great going PB!!!

WAS thinking of it but am STILL archiving 2012 and previous image files. need to archive everything 2012 and prior brfore i (TRY) to depart Travis for Spain at end of the month. I have already 2000+ images just taken in 2013!! plus I need to start cleaning up my room and packing.

wonder when they will come out again? probably NOT today with the fog unless it burns out very soon. just hoping they will join USA17 for a sail for foto ops!! yea right!!
