FWIW I just saw an AC45 going N by Pier 50 area.

Minimum wing weight is 2915 lbs.

Apparently Artemis is in the shed for some major refit and they are configuring one of their AC45s for foiling.

my guide was one of the Logistics guys.

I had a bit of an "in" with the local multihull folks - there was a general agreement at the end that OR would like to do more of that - and we'd figure something out on how to get more people in. They can handle about 20 at a time.

Also, I would guess that since Photoboy is a member of the "press" and is there quite a bit, he might be able to request a Pressure Drop member tour….

I used some jedi mind tricks, animal maggotism and skills gleaned from " How to influence people" and got this reply back:

hoping to read your story once you get on a tour! i should be back in my rusty Rota apt by that time, and you'll hear nada from me for a few months. i'll be back for the next big race here. you'll have to entertain the audience for the time and i doubt you'll fail in that PB!
