    The most entertaining races I've ever seen. Trying to imagine what the next AC would be like if the same boats were specified. How much more is in these boats and teams given the time. Amazing.

    A whole lot, like a WHOLE lot of 40-knot moments in that race. TNZ went 45+ coming out of Gate 3, but Oracle blew them out of the water...750 meters, 45 seconds ahead at the finish, and TNZ actually was ahead coming out of the first mark. Oracle was faster both upwind and downwind, but the real killer was upwind coming out of Gate 2 and up to Gate 3. Oracle just piled on yardage, all the way up the course....went from barely a boatlength between them to 350+ meters at the upwind gate.

    It sure LOOKED like it was gonna be a boat race at the Start and up to Mark 1.

    Sure would be cool if they could capitalize on all the excitement and race on Saturday. Screw the fall keel, errrrr big boat series.

    If not hope it runs today while OR is still rolling.
