Massive Masif Taking Shape

The final assembly of Francois Gabbart's new maxi trimaran is currently under way at CDK Keroman in Lorient France.

The 100' is scheduled to launch later this summer, the ultimate goal is a Jules Verne trophy attempt in 2019.

The 29 year old Francois has become a superstar in France after winning the Vendee Globe in 2013 on his 1st attempt.

Massive Macif Emerges



François Gabart's 100' Maxi Trimaran, Macif is the latest creation to emerge from the CDK Technology Shed.
She will be followed shortly by one for Gitana.

The new Macif joins other maxi trimarans designed specifically for solo sailing, such as Francis Joyon’s IDEC & Thomas Coville’s Sodeb’O.

Gabart will compete in his 1st offshore event in 2016, with the Route du Rhum on schedule for 2018 and an around the world record attempt in 2019!
