I am selling my Peterson 28. Hate to see her go, but I just don't use her enough and she needs a better owner.
This was Doug's boat back in the early 1980s, when he and Kerry Geraghty of Geraghty Marine teamed up to build her. She's really the grandfather of the modern sportboat. A really fun little boat for Beer Canning and day sailing.
Well set up and easy to sail. Fully powered up in about 8 knots of breeze, gets up on a plane before just about any other keelboat.
Symmetric and Assymetric Spinnakers, optional trapeze wires (3 sets), North 3D main and headsails.
We hauled her up to The Ditch Run a few years ago and took 3rd in ULDB, before we added the Assy. If we had known where to go we would have done better! Top speed that day in the river, fully planing in flat water, was 21.5 knots.
