  • The Return Of Winter Key West Action

What it lack in reporting, it exceeds in conditions and photography!
The return of racing to the Kew West Area, The Southernmost Regatta, replaces the now defunct
Key West Race week, bringing mostly one design to the Keys in the dead of winter for some fun in the sun

The Great Lakes 52's have a 5 boat contingent, with David Team's Vesper well in front after 10 races,
with scores no greater than 3rd in any race, a total of 19 points, leading Austin Fragomen's Interlodge by
    a 8 points margin, 19 to 27

The 17 boat strong Melges 24 class has Peter Duncan's Rasta Mixta with 3 bullets, leading Drew Freides's Pacific Yankee
by 6 points, with 43 vs 49 points respectively

In the J 70's, Bobby Juliens's Dingbat clings to a 1 point advantage over Dick Kalows's
    Superior 1, 23-24...

Things are all tied up at the top in the J-111 division, with Andrew & Sedgwick Ward's Bravo
and Ian Hill's Sitella both with 32 points

And in the singular non one design division, the 6 boat ORC, Gwen Fragoman's Botin 44 Interlodge IV
with a near picket fence, just one 2nd in 9 races and all other bullets clearly the Queen of her own domain!
