A major weather system has hit the UK and Western Europe bringing high winds rain and thunderstorms
forcing officials to cancel the 1st day of the SailGP Cowes.

Due to damage sustained in the last race, Great Britain SailGP Team will not participate in race 2.
Amazingly the United States SailGP Team is ready to race following its capsize, and Japan SailGP Team will be back on the start line as well despite damage.
