Today, James Spithill's United States SailGP Team capsized in training on
San Francisco Bay ahead of the SailGP Season 2 Grand Final this weekend, March 26-27.
No injuries were sustained and the team were able to sail the F50 back to dock.
Professional Big Wave Surfer and Red Bull athlete Kai Lenny was a guest onboard during the capsize and no doubt had the SailGP experience of his life!

Tuesday's Child Is Full Of Grace



A finite collection of the F50's out on the City Front doing gear checks, tune ups and training on
a rare 80 degree weather day in San Francisco








The conditions are cooler and windier today with less sun and fog extending well inland.
Best not to show up in your bikini briefs and beach umbrella, that was SO yesterday.









Practice shows continue through Friday before the actual competition begins.

Race time is slated for 14:00 to 15:30 both Saturday and Sunday.

Aussies Take A Bow Stuffing



Late Thursday afternoon, after most of the F50's had returned back to the home base, Slingsby and crew returned to the race track
for a bit more training, and during a tack bear away and stuffed it good. The breeze had picked up significantly, probably the most
that the teams will experience on this stop, with gusts in the 25-30 knot range





While no crew were injured, the damage to the sail was obvious, and Team AUS will have it's work cut out for them to get
the boat back in shape for racing this weeked....
