François Gabart and Tom Laperche have announced the Trimaran SVR Lazartigue schedule for the next few months!

The opportunity to announce that Tom Laperche, 25 years old, will be at the command of the boat on the occasion of the Transat Jacques Vabre , a solo race around the world and without a stopover, in January 2024, just a few weeks after the double Arkea Ultim Challenge Brest where the two sailors will team up again~

"I want to sail as a crew, with two strong objectives: the Transat Jacques Vabre and the Jules Verne Trophy next year, which is a fabulous challenge (world crew tour, record: 40 days, 23 hours, 30 minutes, 30 seconds).
I also feel like passing on. I was lucky enough to travel the world solo in 2017. Still an incredible experience Cruising solo on these boats is a privilege. I'm convinced I could have a lot more fun. But I also enjoy doing my job in a different way. I love living this job in all aspects. I also want to experience this aspect of the transmission. I have this conviction that I can contribute a lot to the overall project. There will be a route cell, I won’t be far away. I want to help deliver performance by accompanying a sailor. "
