If the passage of the 2015 edition to the calendar of the Championship of France no longer allowed the presence of figaro skippered in double,
it is at the origin of the new format consisting of two days of coastal races and a great race off 320 miles with two nights at sea.
The 2019 edition is organized by Les Sables d'Olonne Vendée Offshore Racing Association.

The Vendée-Globe pontoon from Port Olona allows the public to approach sailboats, preparers and skippers safely and easily until the start.
Conviviality and sportsmanship are the hallmarks of the organizers.
The course of 320 nautical miles with a departure (Thursday afternoon) and a return (Saturday morning) to Les Sables d'Olonne is varied
and allows sailors to race under all gaits. Selective and exhausting the Solo Master CoQ qualifies for the Solitaire Urgo Le Figaro for the guys who will finish the race.

We do not win at Les Sables d'Olonne without having great qualities of sailors. Just browse the charts to realize it.
Skippers register for the next edition!
Enthusiasts come numerous on the Vendée-Globe pontoon!
