Interesting idea. I know Kevin from Distance was trying to organize something like this. Seems like it might be possible, but man, there is a lot of gear. We are taking 9 around. How about you?

You may consider renting an RV on the island. We looked into that last time, but decided to just go with the van, which turned out to be pretty small! An RV will have all the space you need for gear, and enough room to sleep a few more people. Sharing a vehicle between two boats with 8 or 9 crew could get cramped...
We are sailing with 12, chef, two shore support crew, and probably budying up with Sean and his powerboat. Using the van again and it is going to be cramped, especially with the additional sails we'll have this time. Decided to go with less this time because of logistics. My suggestion would be to go with as few as you can reasonably sail the boat.
Entry list is up and looking GREAT! Dark Star, Flash, two F40s, White Cloud, Raven the new CM1200, a good lineup of big boats. And the slower div is looking pretty competitive too.Anacortes Rigging.com Rigging and Yacht ServicesComment

I am happy to share what we know about the event!
Cinco is taking 8 sailors around and another 1-2 shore side!
Boat pimping starts in a few weeks......
Don't discount rest on this race....it is huge!

There you go, sail up to the Columbia River, do the Oregon offshore, then Swiftsure, then Van Isle 360, then Whidbey Island Race Week, then sail home! Perfect plan.
