Umm because boats are listed by their PHRF rating and you sail on the slowest rated boat.....only 2 or 3 boats you consider real competitors? It must be nice being the smartest and most skilled sailors in the entire SF area!!

Ay Caliente will be out this weekend. I hope it's blowing from the NNW, all the rum is to starboard. We'll keep the Pacifico's to port for balance. Is rum considered movable ballast?

          Any PD divisions this year?

WD are you coming out? Spear will be getting wet this weekend after almost a month drying off.

Not all the boats showed up, we did as well as we could... What was most interesting, Was going out to Pt. Bonita, no problem, but after we rounded , we had half an hour of ten foot drops,, I never saw them coming while on the way out....interesting..

Sounds like the ebb followed you and and mixed up with some building swell. From zero to 10 foot seems a bit extreme.

There was quite a parade of boats to the Encinal Yacht Club.

We went from zero to hero after a tough first leg by sailing less distance downwind-- we were one of just a couple(?) people that played the marin coast after rounding the bouy. Made up a TON of ground. Lost a couple boats in the estuary... super fun race
