We were finishing while the reach helecopter circled,, fire boat crossed through the finish line the wrong direction and there was a firetruck near elephant rock... This went on for a good half hour... Must have been when the ferry was returning to port,
I was told by some one at the CYC , a person may have been thrown through the power boat windshield.

to swerve into the ferry boat at a high rate of speed.
SAUSALITO (CBS SF) – One of two people injured when a Golden Gate Ferry and a 22-foot motorboat collided in the San Francisco Bay on Saturday has died, a U.S. Coast Guard spokesman said Monday morning.
The victim was identified as 68-year-old Harry Holzhauer, of Tigard, Ore., Coast Guard Lt. j.g. Mark Leahey said.
