And 82' Oyster name "Darling" is on the beach at Linda Mar in Pacifica.

The owner is from Santa Rosa, we do not know what preceded this unfortunate event,
or how they intend to get off, assuming vessel assist is en route.

Pacifica Police, Fire, State Parks swim rescue, USCG are all there in force

(03-04) 10:22 PST PACIFICA -- The 80-foot luxury sailboat that ran aground off a Pacifica beach early Monday was stolen from a Sausalito marina, police said.
The owner of the sailboat, the Darling, was watching news coverage of the incident Monday morning, took a hard look at the boat bobbing in the waves about 20 yards from Linda Mar Beach and realized it was his, said Sausalito police Sgt. Bill Fraass.
"He had the TV on when he realized that his boat had been taken and called us," Fraass said.
Three people are trapped on the boat and have so far refused the Coast Guard's assistance, said Petty Officer Tom McKenzie, a Coast Guard spokesman.
Rescue crews from the Coast Guard and local fire department have been monitoring the boat since it was spotted around dawn, but Pacifica police will now be responding to the scene, Fraass said. Police believe the boat was stolen sometime around 1 a.m. Monday.
"They're coming up with their game plan of what to do now," Fraass said.
Before authorities realized the boat had been stolen, a Coast Guard swimmer was lowered from a helicopter and delivered a radio to the boat's crew.

Erik Simonson from Pressure Drop is on the scene snapping pics. "Authorities are on the beach with their guns drawn. Fire department, Coast guard, Sheriff, etc. are on scene. One of the alleged thieves is sitting on the transom. The other, a female, has some kind of gear bag ready to ditch." Erik says that they look a little disoriented...to be expected if you were sitting the beach in a keel with multiple agencies' muzzles bearing down on you. Chanel 7 news chopper is in the air.

i think the most recent full moon has really been affecting people in the SF bay area in the most stupidiest manner: police shootings, car chases, shootings and killings? this is NOT typical for the area. and now this! wow!!

can't wait to see the frisk pixs of the female!!!

If the "keel is off" I'm assuming she laid over and it getting destroyed?

                        I feel for the owner.

No, she is still floating on her bottom. I suspect she is touching bottom. Plus, the surf is not particularly big.
