Of course, I'd rather have a Heineken but PBR goes down well when all you want is cold and carbonated

A fine, fine day on and off the water in Santa Cruz. A light to medium NW began to build
and 1/2 way through the 1st leg of 2nd race the wind backed off, then shifted to an
south easterly... The RC reconfiged then ran the final races in favor of the SE direction....

Breeze shut off+DNF if 20 minutes after the first finisher.
More importantly, how can a regatta (an expensive one too), sponsored by a beer company, not have free beer?

A little piece on the little understood, often misinterpreted but always joyous game of Halfball....

It's kinda like stickball, without the nasty running bits, and more drinking...

                          1) If you knock the batters beer over, you have to get him/her a new one.

                            no strikes/balls
swing and miss and catcher catches it is an out
tip and catcher catches two outs
                            3 outs/inning, 3 inning/gm
base/double/triple/hr judged on distance, outfielders are ok
if no score, qty and/or quality of hits determines winner
