Always impressed about how stoic and tough these groms are, bashing up wind and surfing down wind in big ebb chop and 20 plus knots while very large vessels pass in close proximity...
58 Sailors from USA, Canada and Bermuda competing in 4 divisions giving it their all over 3 days, groms from ages 7-15 cramming in race after race Friday through Sunday
with a clinic on Thursday...
Asked Race Director Robbie Dean if they quit early yesterday, " Naw, we worked them hard all day and they were into it, no whiners here! Sailed til 4:00 PM in some pretty big ebb and big breeze!"
