Folks, just one more day to register for the SilverEagle race this Saturday. There are a meager 8 boats registered for the race. This is a really fun long distance race inside the bay, finishing at the Island YC in Alameda who is throwing a little party afterwards.

Dan, he's just hiding out offshore, avoiding the humiliation sure to come every time he goes up against real sailors and their boats.

That said, I'll second Mr. Alvarez, and say, if you are not overwhelmed by laundry or dirty dishes, get out here! It's pretty neutral, tide-wise, considering the big up-bound and down-bound legs. Wind would be nice, but, then again, the Cal isn't as sticky as some when it's zephyr time!

Can only say, be there, or eat hair! They've consolidated all to the original 50 NM course. It looks like a grudge match between the Can and the Spear. Anyone talking and not entered is, as usual, talking out their ass. The course favors the Spear, and, Dan, you know we have no real grudge at all, just a chance to go at it. Bon Chance!

They need to merge some of the 800+ events on the Bay and make real races out of some of them.
