The spelling of "saillboat" is also suspect

The 1st 5 days after the weekend are always the toughest.

So they arrested him on the suspicion of being suspicious?

I heard something about false SOS calls. Maybe he'd been at the local Karaoke bar and was still channeling ABBA?

"The weekend is always in view"...here is one from the past weekend as the local kiters entertained the ACRM
team, post LV race. "Lift foiler boards are also useful, post session"

            Erin Loscocco

Here Johnny Heinken boosts a 30' high aerial on his course board. Say's Ben Glass who snapped the pic
"Most people shy away from huge jumps with boards the have three 14" kitchen knives installed on the bottom."
" I just found out my nest egg has salmonella"

in the south of Spain, Tarifa is known as Spain's wind and kite surf capital, possibly of the whole European area. the winds are so gusty and strong that even I on one of my rare visits to the area, have captured a guy and i swear (ok no language) that the guy kite-surfing got blown 50' at the very least and for a distance of about 150' at least. yes, i am NOT lying. i have pixs though probably in one of my many scattered boxes....

Here's the latest S.F. Chronicle version of the story.

                  http://www.sfgate.com/crime/article/...st-4682757.php

Floating on a boat in Richardson Bay and not making any bogus SOS calls in funny accents seems like a better idea than an extended stay in federal prison, but "different strokes" as they say.

More details on the guy arrested. Seems like a nice guy. Just a twisted sense of reality.
