Keep up the good work guys (and gals), it's a wet, thankless job, but someone has to do it!

Here is another one posted on behalf of Mark Neumann while he waits to get past the PD guard dogs.

      Andy,

Still waiting for approval to post on pressure drop, so here are my thoughts:

      1) I'm glad to hear October racing will be back. Six months without ocean racing is too long.
      2) Include Spinnaker Cup in season standings. Nothing is better than an overnight spinnaker run. Besides, having one overnight race is not too much to ask in an ocean series. That's what throw outs are for. I've motored a Ranger 26, with an outboard, back several times.
      3) Good ideas for a coastal SAS seminar. The pool & life raft training at CMA was very useful. I found out why crotch straps are needed, but the hard part is finding one that is comfortable to wear.

      Ok to post.

      Thanks,

      Mark Neumann

How about starting Spinnaker Cup and/or Windjammers in the late afternoon or evening? Then it's an overnighter for everyone, and the slower boats don't have the frustration of having the wind shut down on them (us) a few miles from the finish.
