Singlehanded Sailing Society History -specifically '78 and '80 SHTP

If you have "history" with the Singlehanded Sailing Society, would you please go look at the forum and read the "SSS History" thread. Before I go hog-wild and work my tail off I'd like to know if anybody really gives a rip about what I'm proposing.

If you are in contact with someone who did the '78 or '80 races, let them know we're looking for them, and get some contact information, please!

I think Latitude 38 has a whole stack of old magazines dating back to way back when in their
offices, it would be a chore, but if someone could scan them there, would be an instant archive
right there. I guess a laptop and scanner would be required.
