We heard the radio calls on the water while we were racing near TI. I think it was the rescuing Capt informing the CG, that they had picked up the man over board, but that now there was an unmaned vessel sailing away... Glad to know they were able to intercept it before anything bad happened.
And to think that I didn't think twice earlier in the day when I saw one of the wylie cats sailing around with no one on deck. Just assume that Pat was just singlehandling and had gone done for a few secs... Then again, there wasn't a flogging kite nor a person body dragging off the back.
