Hi All - I'm looking at moving the multi23 from Ballena Bay to Marina Bay. They have an opening at the western edge of E dock. Upwind slip.
I used to have a multi on the eastern edge of E doc, I know the eastern edge of E and all of D docks are in the full brunt of the westerly. I'd be doing 5 knots downwind with the engine in reverse transiting between the docks coming in at the end of the day. Needless to say, I didn't like it much.
How is the other side of E dock? It always looked calmer over on F dock. Is the western edge of E the same? It's on the 2nd finger from the shore, right at the end, not the end tie, but one slip in. It's a 22' wide spot so perfect for a small multi, but I only have a 2 hp kicker engine and I don't want to get blown up on the rocks either.
Thoughts?
