    Cesar Gomes, from Iate Clube de Santa Catarina from Florianopolis Brazil, with John Bowden on trim and tactics, Valter Herzmann on main sailed an impressive 5 races over the weekend in the Melges 20 Pacific Coast Championships held on Southhampton Shoals to take the runner up to the 2014 Melges 20 Nationals. Success is no stranger to Cesar and crew who claimed title to the Melges 20 National Championships and the Canadian National Championships earlier this season. Scott Nixon will jump into the main man position for the North Americans

    21 boats will line up beginning next Friday at or near the Southampton Shoal for the 2014 Melges North American's, with a great number of locals intermixed in the fleet of these high performance aqua missles!



    Samba Pa Ti above and Wildman below, 2 generations of Kilroys competing in this weeks Melges 20 events.



    In that mix, and fresh of winning the Melges 20 Worlds in Lake Garda, John Kilroy and crew of Jeff Reynolds on trim.and Paul Goodison on main and tactics will no doubt be giving Cesar and crew a runn for the money. As well as John's son, 11 year old wonder kid
    Liam Kiroy with Stephanie Roble on strategy, Erik Shampain on trim, Steve Hunt on main and tactics sailing Wildman!
