We had the distinct privilege to fly over the America's Cup on September 8th 2013 during races 3 & 4 of the event.

The bummer was, the marine layer had come in, big time and limited visibility big time. We spent a bundle of time
buzzing above the cloud base, and while airborne, made the best of a not so great situation and got some views you normally
don't get to see on a day to day routine. And the blanket of fog certainly did paint some unique backdrops.

          Nice shots!

Sure..yeah, I taught sailing out of Petes Harbor, with Spinnaker Sailing over two summers. I had a boat in there for another year. Lots of good memories of Petes Harbor, now completely gone to....

          you guessed it...

          Condos and townhouses!

I always wondered what happened to Pete Uccelli's son, Rich. If I was to guess, I'd put my money on a bet that Pete's widow, Paula made out like a bandit on that sale, probably to the tune of several tens of millions of dollars. I would also hazard a guess that Rich got exactly nothing, which is just WRONG. I don't know that, but that's what I'd guess. Rich helped me out, and the Marine Science Institute out, many times. He was a good guy. I hope he's doing well.
