Google Translate puked on that. It said to try different words. Whatever you wrote, it's still pre-season.
For today I'm bummed that the Dubs lost at home. Also that the fam is going to the game today (A's) while I'm doing taxes for people who mostly don't give a crap.
Caught a glimpse of the A's game at the "what ever it's called us see um" last night.
I would guess it was 95% empty.
On a balmy pleasant evening in Oaktown.....
This mornings news program indicated that the A's have not turned a profit in years and live off a $34 Million subsidy from the league,
meanwhile paying $1.00 a year rent...
Nice racket...
You need to round up some of those Athletic Supporters and help them break even so they can compete....
Buy land close to transit, nice weather and an up and coming neighborhood with real estate investment value.
The Giants opened AT&T in 2000 and have never looked back.
Leow Wolfe has taken the opposite approach.
Live off the tax payers, and other teams revenue, put a sub standard product on the field and watch the value of your franchise climb to the heavens,
while you do nothing to improve team, facilities etc...
FTR, MT Davis and the entire upper deck was NOT occupied. They have had that tarped off for a decade now and Alameda County taxpayers foot the $10,000,000 a year for the loan.
The Dump At Hegenberger could seat about 70 K fans... the current arrangement is about 1/3 of that...
We support them because I grew up in East Oakland. As a kid I looked down our street and across the flats and could see them building the Coliseum. We went to a lot of games over the years because they were our home team.
This little exchange started out as a bit of friendly fun over rings. I'm not interested in continuing, given its present direction.

Oh hell, the A's set the standard for being close to public transit. They have their own BART station for god's sake. As far as the product on the field goes, they're competitive and a perpetually fun team to watch, until Billy trades everyone away.
I prefer watching my pitchers flail at the plate, but the A's are a fun night out.

Originally known as the Coliseum/Oakland Airport station, it opened as part of BART's initial service on September 11, 1972,
The Oakland Athletics' first game at the Coliseum was played on April 17, 1968.
80% of fans DRIVE to the Coliseum on that scenic highway known as the Nimitz...and then must eat out of their trunks as no nearby eating establishments exist, or face week old hotdogs reheated and 3.2 beer in large cups...
I think the Giants offer a few more options...and they WIN! :^)
Sorry about your A's Bobby, they need and overhaul and a new home...
