For those of you who have not joined the fun you are missing out.
The pared down YRA series is now 8 races over 4 days, May, June, July and August. There is a decent size PHRF fleet, and one design fleets for J88, Olson 25 and Santana 22's. Yesterday the Express 37 fleet joined us for a romp in the south bay as part of their series. So far the races have been very well run with Berkeley YC taking May, Encinal doing yesterday and South Beach on deck for 7/23 for some SF side south bay action and Richmond YC handling the duty on 8/13 with some Southampton courses.
There's still time to sign up for the remaining race dates and race fees are nominal at $40 per day or $20 per race. Noon starts, 2 races per day, and back in the slip by happy hour.
Yesterday we got two double sausage courses at about 8nm each in delightful conditions.
