                Other than calling for help, what exactly would "modern electronics" do for you in those conditions? I wouldn't even want to see wind speed...shrieking or not shrieking would work for me. Heel angle? You don't need it when you're standing on the ceiling. Rudder angle? If there's a rudder still down there who cares? Boat speed? Not bloody faST enough...because it's not reading 450 kts. Boat instruments don't read altitude, and I'd be wanting to see 38 Kft.

                Given the difficulty in getting sights during July, this could be fun to watch...I dig the celestial nav. Sailing the winter storm track though...egads, they might want to rename it the "Darwin Cup".
