The Fresno Yacht Club sponsored the 62nd running of the High Sierra Regatta for the past two (2) weekends. The event started in 1953. A few pictures are in a gallery and trail.

Weekend #2 pictures are from Sunday July 16 : Moore 24, Ultimate 20, San Juan 21, Thistle, Viper 640. Sixty four (64) boats registered for the Weekend #2.

Weekend #1 had 124 boats registered to race : Snipe, Laser, Lido 14, Banshee, Optimist, Vanguard 15, Victory 21, RS Aero.

The wooden boat is a Broad One Design in the pictures below racing in the High Sierra Regatta on Huntington Lake.

The boat is 100 years old.

The boat was on its trailer when I spoke with the sailors. They trailered from Santa Barbara.
