2020 YRA Island Tour

80 Boats sailing doublehanded, COVID 19 style took to the Bay Saturday for a romp from the Berkeley Flats up the City Front
to Blackaller and then downhill and up river to Red Rock before finishing in the Richmond Arena.








Breeze was on from the start, a quite nippy and cloudy southwesterly, which not only provided lift,
but puch the smoke particles to places east, making this regatta, truly a breath of fresh air!








There was no organized post race festivities as per the COVID 19 guidelines, but for those in attendance,
It was just a hoot to be back on the water competing, after way too long of a hiatus!

Blue Patrick has been getting rusty due to the Pandemic.

Blue Patrick was trying his best and was doing well during Saturday's YRA Islands Tour



Then Blue Patrick did some twisty thing to try to impress the girls



Blue Patrick could not untwist himself and ended up swallowing some bay water and maybe anchovies.

We hope the Blue Patrick makes a full recovery.
