Women's Sailing Seminar, November 13 to 15 Goes virtual
Northern California 28th Annual Women’s Sailing Seminar Evolves To Become Online Education Weekend, November 13 to 15
• $80 registration for Women’s Sailing Seminar (WSS) until November 1; $100 thereafter
• Instruction, Interactive Sessions, Networking Hosted by Professional Women Sailors
ALAMEDA, California, October 7, 2020: Island Yacht Club’s annual Women’s Sailing Seminar (WSS) scheduled for November 13 to 15 shifts to a fully online virtual education format to respect social distancing recommendations. WSS kicks off with a Friday evening racing seminar. Saturday and Sunday sessions start at 8am PT and run until late afternoon. Instruction will be taught for sailors of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Communication will be delivered via the Zoom® online platform. Guests from any region in the world are welcome to register.
Hosted by the Island Yacht Club of Alameda, California, and in its 28th year, Women’s Sailing Seminar features numerous instructors, some of whom include:

To complement this annual seminar weekend, WSS organizers are also hosting a series of free interactive online storytelling sessions. The next program, “The Lighter Side,” is Monday, October 19, 7pm PT. Storyteller sessions are complimentary, last one hour and are hosted on the Zoom platform.
