4 Whales In 8 Days

The Marine Mammal Center sadly report a 4th grey whale has washed ashore, this one on the Marin County Coast:

"This morning we confirmed a fourth gray whale has washed ashore at Muir Beach. Our necropsy team will investigate both the whale found near Berkeley Marina yesterday (currently at Angel Island), and the latest whale, at Muir Beach, this afternoon."


"Our experts have responded to three deceased gray whales in the past week. The first initially washed up on Crissy Field last Wednesday, the second at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve on Saturday and the third found this week floating in San Francisco Bay."
