Fishing trip off Alameda goes terribly wrong:

Upon arrival, Alameda Firefighters found one male victim on the shore in cardiac arrest with APD performing CPR. AFD crews took over patient care and started advanced lifesaving measures while simultaneously deploying rescue swimmers to locate the remaining victims. This first patient was transported to a local hospital.
AFD deployed seven rescue swimmers into the water along with the AFD Fire Boat. Rescue swimmers located three male victims in the water ranging from approximately 100’ to several hundred yards off shore. AFD rescue swimmers successfully rescued the 3 victims and brought them onto the shore where they were transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries and evaluation.
29 Firefighters in total responded to the scene which included 3 Engines, 1 Truck, 1 Fire Boat, 1 Rescue, 1 Rescue Boat, C.A.R.E. Team, 4 Ambulances, and a Battalion Chief.
Assisting resources included Alameda Police Department and the United States Coast Guard with a Vessel and helicopter.

Coast Guard rescues windsurfer near San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO — The Coast Guard rescued a windsurfer near the Point Bonita Lighthouse Saturday night.
Watchstanders at the Coast Guard Sector San Francisco Command Center received a call at approximately 7:55 p.m. from a family member of a missing windsurfer reporting that he had gone missing.
An Air station San Francisco MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter aircrew was launched along with a Coast Guard Station Golden Gate 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew to search for the windsurfer. San Francisco Fire Department and San Francisco Police Department assets also launched to assist with search efforts.
The aircrew located the windsurfer near the Point Bonita Lighthouse, and safely transported him to Air Station San Francisco.
There were no reported medical concerns for the windsurfer.
