  • whiskeytown regatta

    from age 1 to age 20 this was a yearly stop in my family. haven't been back since and this year we are introducing the kids. i know it's a little late to get interest but is anyone else going?

          Frying pan, dutch oven and brownie mix is all a man needs to survive a weekend at Whiskey Town.

            approximately 50 boats attended this years running of the whiskeytown memorial day regatta. attendance is way, way down from my younger years (attended from 72 through 92) and the race organizers are trying hard to bring the people back. conditions each morning before the start were 15 from the north turning to 0-5 out of the south. three races were run in 80 degree weather and fun was had by all
