Down the Sound Race - Seattle to Gig Harbor

The first annual Down the Sound Race begins on August 7th!

This race is modeled after STYC’s very popular Race to the Straits, and it’s sure to be another great event! Participants will race from Shilshole to Gig Harbor on Saturday, enjoy a summertime party with food, beverages, and prizes at Arabella’s Landing on Saturday night, and then race back to Shilshole on Sunday.

Moorage is still available at Arabella's Landing so make your reservations now (253-851-1793). There is limited guaranteed moorage, but anchorage and water taxi service will also be available. Gig Harbor will also be home to a food and wine festival this weekend.
