    Powered Up In Port Stephens

Wild conditions made for some intense racing for Day 1 of Act 3 of the Pallas Capital TP52Aus Gold Cup at Sail Port Stephens. From a big left hander in race one to the classic offshore Port Stephens sea state, and 11 grand prix racers on the track, there were great battles throughout the fleet with big wave rides and even dolphins coming out to play!

At the end of day one it is Matador leading on TPR, followed by Quest and Zen on equal points behind them.

“Magic fast sailing,” said Rex skipper Dale Mitchell. “Our top speed with this boat is just shy of 40 knots, which probably looks quite radical off the boat but it’s very controllable. Anything over 30 knots [of boat speed] and Rex is responsive and quite stable on

All Wrapped Up In Hamilton Island
