Catching the Breeze at the 43rd St. Maarten Heineken Regatta
After several days of preparation, the first race day at the 43rd St. Maarten Heineken Regatta saw the competitors streaming out through the lifting bridge into the open waters of Simpson Bay. With two separate course areas set, the fleet split left or right to rendezvous within their classes for their starts off of Cole Bay and Simpson Bay.

Organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club and supported by Antigua Yacht Club, the 14th edition of the RORC Caribbean 600 started on time at 11:00 AST on Monday 20th February. Seventy boats racing under IRC, Class40 and MOCRA Rules, with crew from 30 different countries, started the epic race.

While four classes mathematically had Les Voiles de St. Barth Richard Mille locked in after yesterday’s racing, no one missed the chance for one last 24 - 36 mile race around beautiful Saint Barth?lemy. Vesper , Pata Negra , Mach Schnell and Crybaby in Maxi, CSA 5, Offshore Multihull and Diam 24 OD respectively, thoroughly enjoyed the day while each claiming one more first-place finish and their overall class wins. In winning the Maxi class, Vesper also claimed the Richard Mille Maxi Cup Trophy.... -
