British skipper Sam Goodchild, solo skipper of the Ocean Fifty Leyton, has been injured during the start of the 12th Route du Rhum -Destination Guadeloupe race. As soon as the alert was received CROSS (Centre Regional Operationnel de Surveillance et de Sauvetage maritimes) sent a doctor to the boat. Goodchild is conscious and was being taken care of by the doctor and his injuries are being assessed before being transferred to an SNSM rescue vessel.... -
