The recently completed 1st leg of the biennial Bermuda 1-2 Race is completed. The singlehanded portion which departs Newport R.I. and finishes 635 NM later in the tropical waters of Bermuda. The Bay Area's own Nathalie Criou sailed an impressive race, finishing 2's in class and 3rd overall in a fleet of 25, which were primarily men.
Nathalie took some time to give us a insight to this years adventure... and there is still more to come!

Saturday June 19th's BAMA Double Handed Farallones started in bright sunshine and light winds off of Baker Beach at 08:00
While 42 boats in 6 divisions had registered, 13 boats recorded DNS status for various reasons, among them was the forecast for lumpy
seas and winds in the high 20's and gusts to low 30s offshore. The routing showed that this, the 43rd edition , was going to be a quick one,
